Best Use of Lloyd’s in a Global Program

This award recognises the effective and strategic use of Lloyd’s in the design and delivery of a global insurance programme. It celebrates organisations that leverage the unique capabilities of the Lloyd’s market to support multinational clients with complex, cross-border risks. The winning entry will demonstrate how Lloyd’s has been used to enhance programme design, enable efficient execution and deliver clear value to clients and partners.

Eligibility 

This award is open to brokers, carriers and Lloyd’s syndicates involved in the placement or delivery of multinational insurance programmes utilising the Lloyd’s market.

Criteria 

  • Strategic use of Lloyd’s: Explain why Lloyd’s was chosen and how its capabilities supported the programme structure or client objectives
  • Programme design and structure: Showcase how the programme was structured using Lloyd’s, including placement strategy, coverage design or integration with local policies
  • Execution and delivery: Demonstrate how the programme was mobilised in practice to ensure effective policy and/or claims delivery 
  • Collaboration: Highlight how brokers, syndicates, carriers or partners worked together to deliver the programme successfully
  • Client value and outcomes: Evidence the impact on the client, such as improved coverage, access to capacity, efficiency or solution to a complex risk

Entrants should: 

  • Select four of the entry criteria to address in your submission. You will be awarded a maximum of 10 points per section (40 points in total)
  • Draw on practical examples of when and how you have demonstrated the abilities, behaviours and knowledge referenced in the entry criteria
  • Demonstrate evidence from the last 12-18 months, up to the awards entry deadline
